My good friend Pam passed this friendship ball on to me, and I would like to pass it on to you….my friends! It reminds us of what we can do and what we can achieve, if we remember the word HOPE. We will never lose hope, if we remember that friendships are a treasure. Friends are there for us, no matter what. I remember all the buckets I have filled with all my tears. over the years…with my friends. I also remember all the times I almost peed my pants laughing so hard….. with my friends. I met Pam, out of college, at my job as an eligibility worker at the department of social services. I was fresh out of college, and thought I knew everything. I was also a good Catholic gal, who NEVER used foul language..really. (Unless it was in Italian…that was fine!) Well, Pam was my supervisor. She was not thrilled. She had a heavy caseload, and the last thing she wanted to do is train an idiot, fresh out of college! She started out fine…the first day. By the second day, I looked at her with my mouth open! Every other word out of her mouth was F*CK THIS, What a B*TCH THIS GAL IS, WHAT THE F*CK DO THEY WANT FROM ME?…well ,you get it! I just looked at her. I could not believe it. Then we both got this smile on our faces…I WILL NEVER FORGET…and we both started in!!!! Then our big supervisor came over, looked at us…and said, “Shut the f*ck up and do your work!” So, we did. That was over 20 years ago! WOW~~~
My 4 years there were so much more easier, with the spirit and attitude of my friend, Pam! Hope you all have friends like Pam. Hope you all have fond memories!

Friends are amazing. My friends are the best I could ask for. I only have a few BEST friends that I have known the majority of my adult life but that is the way I like it. Then there is my wife who is my BEST BEST friend and on top of all that I have my friends in the blogging world. I am one lucky guy.
