My Brain

I have been blessed with senses

I can see

I can hear

I can smell

I can touch

I can taste

I respect the fact that others in this world may have different opinions about what ice cream flavor tasets better or who is cuter, your spouse or your favorite movie star. I can appreciate that you may not like rock and roll like I do, but you prefer jazz. I can relate to picking out the best smelling fragrance for you, and you might hate the one I wear. You may not like the feel of lotion on your body, so you do not use any.

What I am getting at is, we are all the same…yet, we do have our personal differences. So be it. I just wish we could all just SMILE at one another and transform each other into happy beings. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Thanks for stopping by and letting me chat with you a bit. I was a little lonely!

GIRLS DON’T POOP….funny video!

This is such a funny video I was sent! I want to share it with you all! Have a GREAT weekend!

What difference does it make?

What I mean is, why do people get all wrapped up and pissed off about things that do not really make any difference anyways in life? I mean really, what is the big deal about people just saying what they are feeling and thinking and then you just let it in one ear  and out the other? Why is it always necessary to try to pick a fight and get all stressed out over something that was never a big deal in the first place? Geez, relax! Everyone is allowed to have an OPINION, just don’t always expect that people will just embrace it! Take it easy. Get off my case. Let me live!!

GOLFING FUN*

A man staggers into an emergency room with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat.

Naturally, the doctor asks him what happened.

“Well, it was like this,” said the man. “I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole, we both sliced our balls into a pasture of cows.”

“We went to look for them, and while I was rooting around noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end. I walked over and lifted up the tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife’s monogram on it– stuck right in the middle of the cow’s butt.”

“That’s when I made my big mistake.”

“What did you do?” asks the doctor.

“Well, I lifted the cow’s tail again and yelled to my wife, Hey, this looks like yours!”

“I don’t remember much after that”!

LAUGH! HAVE FUN IN LIFE! SMILE!

Take care of yourself each new day…Do You?

For many of us it takes an unhappy event to make us “open our eyes.” Some of us seem to think that everything is going to be fine and nothing is going to happen. I am sure many of you can relate to this or have many you know that feel this way. Well, in my opinion…I say take care of yourself each new day you are given. Eat a diet that covers all of the food groups you learned about in school..not just a few of them. Get exercise by moving and doing what you love to do instead of hate to do. Just move. Talk and spend time with your family and friends. Do not just figure they will be there when you want them to be. Pay attention to the world and what is around you. Stop taking things for granted. Each of you have many things that make you sad. Do not focus on them. Stay focused on the good in your life and the positive will happen. Always focus on what can be done, not what is already done. Focus on the fact that you are alive. Focus on the facts, not the unknown. Life can be hard. Life can be a challenge. Life can be lived in unity. Life can be acheived. Just believe in yourself. Stay healthy and well. If you need help, get it. Do not wait. Just do.

I have a brother who suffered a massive stroke on Father’s Day. He is 50 years old. I can not express to you any details out of respect for the family. I can express to you that I KNOW personally that what I just wrote is true.

Let the celebrations begin……Happy Thanksgiving*

It is that wonderful time of the year again. The time I reflect and think about all of the things I am grateful for in this life. I tend to have these moments all year long, but it seems like they mean more at Thanksgiving. I am one of those people that like to go around the dinner table and have everyone share with each other. My family and friends expect these moments, new guests to my home just give me that look. lol I just ask everyone to share one event in their life in 2012 that really made them grateful to be who they may be. I treasure each day I am given, so I would hope others could say the same.

This year my COURAGE to keep moving ahead was tested often. I have had some MINOR health issues that I let get to me this year. Usually I just ignore them. I have had my mom undergoing various little medical treatments that made me think too much about her aging. We all age, right? I have been blessed with my son who moved to Texas moving back home. I needed the courage to get him home safe. He is now already working at another job and is doing well.I have had to balance negative feelings with more positive feelings when I was in the position of helping some friends or family members in a crisis situation. I wanted to remain strong so I could help them succeed. If you look up my name and its definition….it does seem to fit.

Luisa

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Luisa is a female name of German origin  which means “glorious warrior”.

So, I hope all of you reading this post have something to be grateful for. May you all enjoy Thanksgiving with your family and friends with many smiles. May you have many cherished memories. I want to leave you all with this beautiful passage I found.

The Giver of Gifts

May the Giver of Gifts give unto you

that which is good and that which is true:

The will to help and the courage to do:

A heart that can sing the whole day through

Whether the skies be gray or blue-

May the Giver of Gifts give these to you.

I’M SICK OF IT…..a series of thoughts/questions I have â€¦..4/23/12

Do you believe that you are rich in life if you have your family, friends, faith, and good health?

I answer that with a YES, FOR SURE!

If I did not have my family and friends, I would be going in all directions with my head. I believe the support and love you can get from your family and friends is VERY important to your mental health. There may be times when you get angry with them, but your/their LOVE will get you past it. I remember it is not my place to judge, so I always allow others to express themselves without that fear. My personal faith is something I really cherish. I do not take things for granted. I appreciate. I am so lucky to be in pretty good health. Like all of us out there, I do have issues. I do not let them control my choices in life.I feel like I won the lottery everyday I open my eyes .
