I pride myself on the fact that I have common sense. These days, nothing around this world seems to make any sense. I mean, one minute things are quiet, the next there is a mass explosion! It seems like some people nowadays seem to feel they need to be heard, like back in the primative days. I guess some people get tired of talking to one another and reaching an agreement. I feel that politics nowadays adds fuel to the fire! The election process if bizarre. I mean it is what it is, but really? Chosing to be ignorant in life is a disease. Luckily, there is a cure for ignorance. It is called education. Be smart. Get smart. Use common sense.

” Hellboy II,” Movie Review……..

Once this movie got going, it was one of those fast roller coaster thrills. It kept you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what the heck was going to blow up next! Lot’s of action. Lot’s of suspence. Lot’s of thrill’s. Hellboy is one cool guy. He is big and tough on one hand and then gentle and compassionate on the other. Speaking of hands, that guy has some pretty weird stuff going on with his! His wife is a bundle of flames. She keeps him ” real.” The assistant is really a gentle guy who loves Barry Manilow music! A bit in the movie with Hellboy and this guy are funny! The story is about an exile prince who did not like the decision his dad made about how their kind and humans should co-exist, so he set about to change it. He has a twin sister who is the “good” child and only wants to honor her father’s wishes and keep peace. This movie shows alot of personal struggles various characters are going through and what they are doing to cope with everyday life. I would recommend it. It was good.

A day in the life of…….

A very special friend, who is like a sister to me, has recently been told she has multiple sclerosis. She has been to so many doctors and has had so many tests, I admire her courage and strength. For a long time, she admits she was in denial. The sensation that her body is experiencing is only known to her. The pain and anguish she feels, she must endure. She has had to start giving herself injections everyday. She can no longer hide and pretend all is fine with her system. She has taken the responsibility of caring for herself, and she must deal both mentally and physically each day with whatever this disease may bring. She has educated herself to MS and has made the decision to fight and hope one day for a cure. Research in the area of MS has grown, so she feels one day soon she will have great news!

She has also come to understand that her friends and family are with her on this journey in life that she must now go through. She understands that she does not need to do it alone…others love her and are with her! I admire her strength. I admire her courage. I admire her sense of humor! I love my friend! I am not going anywhere. I will always be there for her! Friends to the end!
