The Cute Princess…LAUGH with DORAZ*

There once was a really cute princess who was walking through the woods. All of a sudden she heard a voice calling, “Hey Really Cute Princess!”

She looked around and didn’t see anyone or anything but a frog sitting on a big rock. She started to carry on her way but the frog called again. “Hey Really Cute Princess, if you take me home and let me sleep on your pillow next to you, I will turn back into a Handsome Prince!”

It had been a very long and boring day so she decided to pick up the frog and give it a try though she really didn’t believe the frog at all.

The Really Cute Princess took the frog home with her and let him sleep on her pillow beside her. When she woke up the next day what do you think she found? There on her pillow beside her sat a really Handsome Prince.

Do you believe this story?

No! Neither did her mother!

Some Photos of my Road Trip*

Stanford University

San Francisco

On our trip, we covered a lot of miles. We did not get to do everything, but we did enough! Northern California is beautiful this time of year. We were planning on going to the state Capital, but one of my sons was having trouble with allergies. We did get to visit Berkeley. It is a marvelous university. Stanford was very traditional and an amazing campus. We got to go to many places in San Francisco. My favorites were Chinatown and Pier 39. We ate a lot of good food! Our hotel was pretty well set up. Our friends were soooo glad to see us. It made the long car trip worthwhile to see their smiles! I believe that car trips are the best. You get to spend quality time with your family, and the kids can not escape! I am happy to be back. Hope to go on more trips soon!

LAUGH with DORAZ….DATING ON THE FARM*

There once was a farmer who was raising three daughters on his own. He was very concerned about their well being and always did his best to watch out for them. As they entered the late teens, the girls dated, and on this particular evening all three of his girls were going out on a date.

This was the first time this had occurred. As was his custom, he would greet the young suitor at the door holding his shotgun, not to menace or threaten but merely to ensure that the young man knew who was boss.

The doorbell rang and the first of the boys arrived. Father answered the door and the lad said, “Hi, my name’s Joe. I’m here for Flo. We’re going to the show, is she ready to go?” The father looked him over and sent the kids on their way.

The next lad arrived and said, “My name’s Eddie. I’m here for Betty. We’re gonna get some spaghetti. Is she ready?” Father felt this one was okay too, so off the two kids went.

The final young man arrived and the farmer opened the door. The boy started off, “Hi, my name’s Chuck…” And the farmer shot him.
