Believe in Yourself

I like to stay home. I like to not always have someplace to go. I like getting up in the morning when I feel like it. I like no one telling me what I need to do for the day. I like to make my own plans and see where they go. I do not feel you always have to have a goal that you get all crazy about to meet. Where does it say that I am required to have goals? I personally feel that if I am in the position to do what ever comes my way, why not? If I do want to plan something, why not? Life goes on day by day. I can even break it down to minute by minute. I wish to just see what happens and then do what I need to do. I appreciate others feeling concerned, but it is your choice to feel that way. I am fine. Thank you for being a friend. That means a lot to me. 🙂

Rest in Peace Mom

mom-2017

It is my belief that my mom is resting in peace now. She was lucky enough to live out her life the way she felt like. She overcame many struggles. She enjoyed many moments of happiness. She always did her best to make all of those around her happy. Since she is of Italian decent, she just loved to feed people! If you did not eat what she made, she would say, “What’s wrong with the food, eat!” LOL After a while, we all just surrendered and ate. LOL She worked until she was 81 years old as a food demo person at Costco Wholesale. She loved feeding all of the customers, especially the kids. LOL She took ill a few years ago. She managed to do her best. She passed quietly in her sleep at 85 years old. We should all be so lucky, huh?

We made an EVERIPEDIA page for my mom. You can do one for any of your loved ones that have passed. I was touched when the team did this.

Any prayers for my mom DELIA, would be appreciated.

It’s a long story……..

Where have I been?
Well, my mom was in the hospital and then rehab. for the last 10 days.
She got to go home today.
She will have occupational and physical therapy at home.
She has been very weak.
Her pulse went down to 40!
During a procedure, she went into cardiac arrest.
They saved her.
She now has a pacemaker.
This should make her life a lot more comfortable.
I am happy she is home.

Cherish your health and well-being.

Thank you for your support.
I need to get back to me and my mess!
LOL

Will be by asap.

“Believe in Yourself “when you look in the mirror…..Kitty does…

I love this picture! If you believe in something, it happens. It may not happen right away, but if you work at it..it will. I decided I wanted to get a new hairstyle, but I was scared! I was so comfortable just putting my hair in a ponytail and wearing a cap! My good friends talked me into it and I am glad they did. I finally believe that I look ok with my hair down every once in awhile! When I look in the mirror, I feel that I can do anything. It is so true…If you like what you see in the mirror, you are unstoppable! (Is that a word!) What do you think about this?

Be brave..but it’s ok to be afraid sometimes..cute photo

BE BRAVE, BUT IT”S OK TO BE AFRAID SOMETIMES.

Don’t be overly concerned with your weight, it’s just a number

Always try to see the glass half full

Remain calm, even when it seems hopeless

Share laughter with your friends!

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t laugh with my friends. I think we have a life line to one another! When we each feel like we are just about to lose it, we quick call each other and start ragging on something till we LAUGH! It always works. We always manage to cheer each other up. We realize that the problem or situation is still there, but we are better able to handle it once we “get it off our chest!” I am SO lucky to have the friends I have. I treasure them each day. Are you lucky enough to have such friends? I hope so,

Yeh, so what’s the problem.huh?

If your depressed or not feeling great…check this blog OR..Can someone give me a good reason why I shouldn’t delete this blog? I have had it for a while and do not really feel that it is very popular with people. I mean, what exactly do people like to read these days? I try to do different things with this blog. Sometimes I think people ARE interested because I look at my stats, and other times ,when I think I have really good stuff, no one is out there! Maybe I need to get real. Help me out here! I do appreciate all the comments I have received. The comments help encourage me!

Dating a Mummy’s Boy?

“A man who regularly visits his mother is a mummy’s boy.”

” A women who does the same is a good daughter.”

I have this situation in my family. I have a brother who adores his mother. He would do anything for her. I would do the same for any member of my family too. Why do all the people that know this think I am such a great daughter, which I am…yet, they call my brother a “Mummy’s boy?” I think that is ridiculous. If a man loves his mother, as he should..in my opinion, I think it is GREAT if he is referred to as a mummy’s boy. I would hope that a lot of women feel this way. Do you? Why or why not? Just curious……

Leave a comment??????

I think that to answer yes to the question above, you have to give 100%. Not only do you have to continue writing and submitting posts, you have other responsibilities. You have the obligation to support your fellow bloggers! Each person who has a blog is making a big committment. They have decided to invest some of their time to attempt to entertain and provide information to the rest of us. We should all show our support to one another. We should all be making nice comments to each other. If a blogger  does not see any comments on their posts, they can become very discouraged. It is nice to see a comment, right…be honest. So, all I am saying is…Do not be afraid to give your opinion. Do not be afraid to reach out to others. It is not like we can see each other face to face, right. So, be supportive…I AM!
