True individual freedom cannot exist without economic security and independence. People who are hungry and out of a job are the stuff of which dictatorships are made.
Franklin D. Roosevelt

For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.
Thomas Jefferson

If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability.
Henry Ford

The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all.

Immigration….

Theodore Roosevelt’s ideas on Immigrants and being
an AMERICAN in 1907.

‘In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good
faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact
equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any
such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon
the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an
American…There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an
American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all. We have room for
but one flag, the American flag… We have room for but one language here, and
that is the English language… and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that
is a loyalty to the American people.’

Theodore Roosevelt
1907

Every American citizen needs to read this!

…My friend Kristi sent this to me and I thought I would share it. My parents were immigrants of Italy and are now proud Americans since 1955. They never gave up their Italian heritage and beliefs..just their citizenship. They passed everything down to the next generation in America.
