Mother Teresa Quotes About the Importance of SMILING*

Peace begins with a smile..”

“Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.”

“The person who gives with a smile is the best giver because God loves a cheerful giver.”

“Let us make one point, that we meet each other with a smile, when it is difficult to smile. Smile at each other, make time for each other in your family.”

“Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.”

“Smile at each other. Smile at your wife, smile at your husband, smile at your children, smile at each other- it doesn’t matter who it is- and that will help to grow up in greater love for each other.”

What does it matter?

Do not ask me what I think

It does not matter

Do not ask me what I would do

It does not matter

Don not ask me what you should say

It does not matter

Do not even worry about my feelings

Do not even worry about my dreams

Do not even care how I feel

It really is all about you

I get the message

I hear it loud and clear

Believe in Yourself;

Turn it around

So much sadness

So much love

Decide it to be so

Your day will change

Things will not be so gloomy

The shadow will lift

The heartache will become acceptable

Release the worry to one

That is ultimately in control

Believe in Yourself;

I am just remembering…….

My dad would have been shaking his head

at all of the grief this world has seen lately.

He would have been wondering if

he made the wrong move coming to America.

He would have thought that things

would be better by now.

He would have expected it from others.

He was one to not take life for granted.

He enjoyed the moments he shared with us all.

He looked at the beauty in life and smiled.

He was thankful for each given day.

One night he just fell asleep. He never saw the next day.

His heart could take it no longer.

His brain was at rest.

Now I belive him to be with God.

I believe him to be watching over us.

I believe he is still sad about things

in this world.

I, like him do believe that

one day it will all be peaceful.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of my dad’s passing.

I think of him everyday.

I miss him a lot.

I do smile everyday remembering all of the

times we got to spend together.

Love one another.

Believe in Yourself;

A Nativity Story for Children*

Real Meaning of Christmas by Brian K. Walters

In today’s day and time,
it’s easy to lose sight,
of the true meaning of Christmas
and one special night.

When we go shopping,
We say “How much will it cost?”
Then the true meaning of Christmas,
Somehow becomes lost.

Amidst the tinsel, glitter
And ribbons of gold,
We forget about the child,
born on a night so cold.

The children look for Santa
In his big, red sleigh
Never thinking of the baby
Whose bed was made of hay.

In reality when we look into the night sky,
We don’t see a sleigh
But a star, burning bright and high.

A faithful reminder,
Of that night so long ago,
And of the child we call Jesus,
Whose love, the world would know.

Help children learn about the Nativity by selecting a safe, sturdy, attractive, and kid-friendly family Nativity set made from materials such as plastic, fabric, or wood.

There’s more to Christmas than presents, turkeys and trees. The nativity story has delighted children for hundreds of years and, unless it is against your beliefs, it is good to keep up the tradition. There is a good selection of books available to help you, ranging from straight retellings to humorous ones.

Merry Christmas to you all!

A Nativity Story for Children …….

Loving God, Help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds,
and worship of the wise men.

Close the door of hate
and open the door of love all over the world.
Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting.
Deliver us from evil by the blessing which Christ brings,
and teach us to be merry with clear hearts.

May the Christmas morning make us happy to be thy children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts,
forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
