NO MORE PEP TALKS FOLKS 10/8/15

Well, I decided that I do not like doing a pep talk everyday because I think I need to do it. I just want to give a pep talk when I feel like giving a pep talk. I am not a coach, but I guess it is kind of the same thing. When I feel like I am getting a sign to post a pep talk, I will. Meanwhile, I will just keep being me and doing whatever sounds good or looks good. I hope you all have plans for a fun weekend. I need a break, so I am going with my hubby to Dana Point for the weekend. I have heard many nice things about it. I plan on just relaxing and doing what ever I feel like doing. Sounds good to me right now. So, I will be seeing you all in a few days. Stay healthy and have fun.

GEEZ, NO BIRTHDAY LUNCH TODAY? My friends turn. :)

Yes, I went to lunch again today! This time with my mom, brother, and a good friend. It was her turn today to get all of the attention and fun. We went to a Mexican resturant and had the most delicious fajitas! It was at El Torito. They have  combo fajitas that are steak, pork, shrimp, and chicken that comes with unlimited side dishes and all of the trimmings! The place was packed. They sang to my friend in Spanish. She loved it because she understood every word. She was born in El Salvador. We all got to try a taste of the flan. It was delicious. So, if there is an El Torito around where you live, try it out sometime. 🙂

A Woman’s Fairy Tale

I had to share this that a friend spent to me…too funny!

Once upon a time, in a land far away, A beautiful, independent, self assured princess, happened upon a frog as she sat contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a verdant meadow near her castle. The frog hopped into the Princess’ lap and said: ” Elegant Lady, I was once a handsome Prince, until an evil witch cast a spell upon me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn back into the dapper, young Prince that I am and then, my sweet, we can marry and setup housekeeping in yon castle with my Mother, where you can prepare my meals, clean my clothes, bear my children, and forever feel grateful and happy doing so.” That night, on a repast of lightly sauteed frogs legs seasoned in a white wine and onion cream sauce, she chuckled to herself and thought: I don’t think so honey!

You Don’t Have to be SO Nasty!

Geez, you don’t have to be so nasty, do you?

I mean, life is a *itch at times, but do you have to buy into that way of thinking?

Can’t you just look the other way?

Can’t you just take it for what its worth….just an opinion.

Can’t you see life passing you by and you’re just dead one day?

Is it really worth all the aggravation?

Is it really worth all the headaches and chest pains?
