A Little Christian Humor…….*(*

This is one of the best clean jokes I’ve seen in awhile!

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, ‘THAT’S IT! I have had enough. I am going toset up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job.’

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They faxed.

They e-mailed.

They e-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs..

They did some genealogy reports.

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off..

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed..

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted theircomputers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

‘It’s gone! It’s all GONE! ‘I lost everything when the power went out!’
Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files fromthe past two hours of work.
Satan observed this and became irate.
‘Wait!’ he screamed. ‘That’s not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don’t have any?’
God just shrugged and said,

JESUS SAVES…..

What Brain Invented the Crockpot?……….*)*

When I first received a crock pot as a gift from my Aunt Kelly, I just looked at her! I grew up in a home that did not even know what a crock pot was! Italians don’t DO crock pots! So, I just made a face and said, “Gee, thanks!” Then I set it down and was trying to go to my next gift when my Aunt Kelly said, “That’s ALL you are going to say?” Then I felt bad. I said, “What?” She said, “Don’t WHAT me, open it!” You are NOT bringing this back! ( She knows me!) I said, “OK!” When I opened it, she immediately pointed out the cookbook. I turned the pages and thought, “Some of this stuff looks pretty good.” I then could not put the crock pot down! I was getting hooked! *(* I thought it was pretty cool how you could just put a bunch of ingredients into this thing, turn it on, and let it do ALL the work! My kind of gift! I gave my Aunt Kelly a big hug, she smiled, and we gave each other “that look” that says, “Understood.” Now, I use my crock pot ALL the time! *)* I have corn chowder to go eat! Gotta go! What’s your story with crock pots? Just wondering!

Attack of the Tight Jeans……….*)*

Stop laughing! Not nice! You are suppose to feel sorry for me! ALL my jeans are officially tight. I wish I had not thrown away those “fat” jeans! I figure I will use psychology on myself and it did not work! How I managed to gain those FEW extra pounds to not allow my jeans to fit, I do not know! That’s a lie! I do know! Stop laughing-)* Really, why would just a “few” pounds make all the difference? Could it be because they all targeted my butt and stomach???? I go to the gym. I “try” to eat the right foods. I drink lots of water. I do not get enough sleep. They say that people who sleep the required hours are better with weight! I know, you are thinking AGE! Well, it is NOT that! No, I am NOT in denial…just a few pounds too fat! So, I decided to use another hair brain idea! I am going to , every day, no matter what, wear a pair of jeans. That way when I go to eat that cookie, or go to have an ice cream..I will think twice. Right? Clever idea, huh? WRONG! I have learned to get past that problem and continue with my journey to food I desire….I just unbutton my pants! YES!_)*

In Appreciation of MOMS*….Past, Present, and Future….

First, I want to start off by saying that I also feel DADS should be appreciated, so I promise to write a story for you Dads, too! Today, though…It’s all about being a MOM! I feel that every day should be Mother’s Day, cause Moms make every day…Your Day! Just think for a moment. Isn’t your Mom always there if you need her, last minute? My Mom is! One night, not too long ago, I was not feeling so hot, so my mom came over with some minestrone soup! It was even homemade! I think what helped me get better, so quickly was the fact that someone on this planet actually cared about me! They put their own needs aside and made my needs their priority. Now, that’s what a Mom is suppose to do! I am sure that those of you out there that have had the misfortune of losing your Mom, never knowing your Mom, or having a bad relationship with your Mom, would take my Mom any day! I wish I could share her, so you could also feel the love and nurturing that we all need. A true Mom loves unconditionally! My Mom never sets limitations on her love! It comes freely and naturally! For those of you who are expecting your first baby…Congratulations! Cherish all the moments you have with your children….good or bad! The fact is…at least you have the honor of being allowed that moment. Do not ever take those moments for granted! So, I sent all you MOMS out there a rose, in honor of your love for your family! If you feel you need to work on some of your relationships, all you need is time and patience! It will happen!
