Word for life changes….YES!

I am sure that many times in your life you have said to yourself, ” I should of said yes.” I as also sure that there were many times you said, ” I am sure glad I said no.”

Well, I am talking about those times when you know that the situation you are in lead to an answer that required a yes or no, it MIGHT be better to say yes and live the experience. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am NOT referring to anything that is dangerous to your health, either physically or mentally. I am referring to those times when your mom and dad ask if you want to grab a bite to eat with them and you make an excuse to not go because you do not want to be seen with them. I am talking about those times your parents ask you to get dressed nicely and go with them to church and you say you do not feel good because you are not really into it. I am also talking about those times that a friend might need your help with something as simple as helping them cook a meal they are having troublke with, and you say you are not real good at cooking just because you rather just sit there and watch them struggle.

So I say in my opinion, if you say yes more in this life to helping another feel more a little happier…so will you.

If you decide to make a commitment to your local charity and stick to it, they will win and so will you.

If you decide to look at your parents as people and stop labeling them your parents, you will see that they are pretty cool and you will be as well.

If you tell the coach you will do your very best…no excuses, you will be a winner even if you lose the race.

Keep a balance in your life. Say yes when it works.

Stay smiling. Have fun. Enjoy family time. It goes by too quickly. My son was just a baby, and now he is a man. WOW OK, gotta run. Stay well and happy. Be safe. Enjoy the world around you. I sure appreciate it.

PORK CHOPS…a STORY*

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

In a zoo in California , a mother tiger gave birth to a rare set of triplet tiger cubs. Unfortunately, due to complications in the pregnancy, the cubs were born prematurely and due to their tiny size, they died shortly after birth.

The mother tiger after recovering from the delivery, suddenly started to decline in health, although physically she was fine. The veterinarians felt that the loss of her litter had caused the tigress to fall into a depression. The doctors decided that if the tigress could surrogate
another mother’s cubs, perhaps she would improve.

After checking with many other zoos across the country, the depressing news was that there were no tiger cubs of the right age to introduce to the mourning mother. The veterinarians decided to try something that had never been tried in a zoo environment. Sometimes a mother
of one species will take on the care of a different species. The only orphans’ that could befound quickly, were a litter of weanling pigs. The zoo keepers and vets wrapped the piglets intiger skin and placed the babies around the mother tiger. Would they become cubs or pork chops?

Take a look… you won’t believe your eyes!!

Smile of the Day……….2/19-)*

A single Mom was asked by a friend what her son was taking in college. With a sigh she replied, “Everything I have.”

• A daughter broke-up with her boyfriend. She asked her Mother’s advice about returning the gifts he’d given her. Without a pause, her Mother replied, “Send back the stuffed animals and letters, but keep the jewelry for sentimental reasons.”

In Appreciation of MOMS*….Past, Present, and Future….

First, I want to start off by saying that I also feel DADS should be appreciated, so I promise to write a story for you Dads, too! Today, though…It’s all about being a MOM! I feel that every day should be Mother’s Day, cause Moms make every day…Your Day! Just think for a moment. Isn’t your Mom always there if you need her, last minute? My Mom is! One night, not too long ago, I was not feeling so hot, so my mom came over with some minestrone soup! It was even homemade! I think what helped me get better, so quickly was the fact that someone on this planet actually cared about me! They put their own needs aside and made my needs their priority. Now, that’s what a Mom is suppose to do! I am sure that those of you out there that have had the misfortune of losing your Mom, never knowing your Mom, or having a bad relationship with your Mom, would take my Mom any day! I wish I could share her, so you could also feel the love and nurturing that we all need. A true Mom loves unconditionally! My Mom never sets limitations on her love! It comes freely and naturally! For those of you who are expecting your first baby…Congratulations! Cherish all the moments you have with your children….good or bad! The fact is…at least you have the honor of being allowed that moment. Do not ever take those moments for granted! So, I sent all you MOMS out there a rose, in honor of your love for your family! If you feel you need to work on some of your relationships, all you need is time and patience! It will happen!

The Images of Mother

4 YEARS OF AGE – My Mommy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE – My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE – My Mother doesn’t really know quite everything

14 YEARS OF AGE – Naturally, Mother doesn’t know that, either.

16 YEARS OF AGE – Mother? She’s hopelessly old-fashioned.

18 YEARS OF AGE – That old woman? She’s way out of date!

25 YEARS OF AGE – Well, she might know a little bit about it.

35 YEARS OF AGE – Before we decide, let’s get Mom’s opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE – Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?

65 YEARS OF AGE – Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

The answer is: What is a real mother………

MOTHERS……………………………………………………..

Real Mothers don’t eat quiche; they don’t have time to make it.

Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox.

Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids

Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn’t come out of carpets.

Real Mothers don’t want to know what the vacuum just sucked up.

Real Mothers sometimes ask ‘Why me?’ and get their answer when a little voice says, ‘Because I love you best.’

Real Mothers know that a child’s growth is not measured by height or years or grade…It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother..
