Happy Birthday to ME

I have to confess. I have been celebrating my birthday since the 5th of September. I am so lucky to have such good friends and great family! They just will not let me stop celebrating! I decided to give in and join them…with a smile! I have had so many delicious lunches. So many yummy cakes. So much quality time with everyone. That is the greatest gift! So, You all enjoy and celebrate in your style. I want all of your dreams to come true. All of your secrets to be kept safe. I will still be celebrating. I will be by to see you soon. Just staying calm…..

I decided to stay calm and not get stressed out with shopping for gifts. I am having fun just taking my time and looking around. I am not really buying much…yet. I did get a bunch of baskets and cookie tins at Costco. I love having them around to give to my company during the holidays. I also loaded up on coffee and tea. I love the smell of coffee brewing! My dining room is all light up and my Christmas tree is looking good. I love to have the lights on. I can’t wait for it to get dark out! I am really doing my best to ignore people who seem to want to put a damper on things. I always look for the positive in the situation. I am not getting caught up in the anger and hatred some people like to show this time of year. I think I will hang out with those that really appreciate life and the meaning of Christmas. I LOVE Christmas. I LOVE having people over and seeing them laugh and smile. That is the best present they can give me. I hope you all do your best to see the nice side of people. Try to ignore the other side, especially around the holidays. Oh well, just thinking out loud. Thanks for visiting. Have many smiles this week.
