Seek…a poem

Gasping for breath, she ran down the endless road

Seeking the salvation she needed

Breathing the air she grew to appreciate

Must get there soon

Must stay focused

Must not deviate from the norm

Must not be the one they talk of

Run

NO, no looking back

Seek the light that speaks the truth

Be the one who controls your emotions

Win the battle you so desperately struggle with each of your days

Seal your salvation,

That of inner peace

Down to the wire…..

No, I am not stressed out. I am calm. I just have a lot of little errands to run before my friend gets married on June 8th. I am really excited for her. She is also getting little things done each day. All of this running around has made me realize a few things. Life is what you make it. You can make your daily chores seem terrible, or you can dance when you are doing them! I am sure the people around you do not care. You might even get them to smile! I have a tendency to dance in public. I seem to do a lot better when I hear the music instead of the ugliness that is going on around me. Call it denial if you want. I call it mental health management. Do you have a way to make yourself get calm about your daily chores? I would be real interested in hearing about them. Until the wedding, I will be blogging off and on. I hope you are all well and happy. I hope you are enjoying your free time and getting to do some of those things you have always wanted to do, but do not seem to have the time to do them. (I wanted to see how long I could make that last sentence! LOL)

Searching…..

As I watch my children grow up

I notice the question marks on their foreheads vanishing

Their eyes seem to glisten with happiness

As if they just won the state lottery.

I will dream and wish this inner peace

will stay with them forever…

Just like my everlasting love

WHAT CHAPTER ARE YOU ON?????

I believe there is a room, somewhere other then here on Earth, that has millions and millions of books! I believe we are all the main characters in them. See, you did not know you were famous, did you? Let me explain my crazy statements, ok?
Think about a handful of people you know that are either family members, friends, coworkers, etc. Take a moment to figure out when you last said, :What’s their problem?”
Well, I believe we are all playing out what is in our book and that we are doing our best to coexist with “the others” who are obviously on a different chapter! It has nothing to do with anything going on with you personally, it just is.
If you can follow this, it will help you stay a lot calmer in your dealings with other individuals on a daily basis. Each of us are unique. Each of us are weird. Each of us are just trying to stay alive. We need to focus on ourselves, and not get so involved in the lives of others so that we can expand our own personal growth. I am not saying we should not be empathetic to others. We should always do our best in guiding those that ask for help. We just can not get too involved or we will lose sight of our goals and our plans. Professional help is always available.
So, teach yourself ways to learn to tolerate stressful situations in your life. Take them on a daily basis. When you feel like you are about to have an explosion, just relax, take some deep breaths, and remember we are all on different chapters in our books of life. If you are lucky, maybe a few times a year you might actually be on the same page!!!!

Believe in yourself;

Luisa
