GEEZ, NO BIRTHDAY LUNCH TODAY? My friends turn. :)

Yes, I went to lunch again today! This time with my mom, brother, and a good friend. It was her turn today to get all of the attention and fun. We went to a Mexican resturant and had the most delicious fajitas! It was at El Torito. They have  combo fajitas that are steak, pork, shrimp, and chicken that comes with unlimited side dishes and all of the trimmings! The place was packed. They sang to my friend in Spanish. She loved it because she understood every word. She was born in El Salvador. We all got to try a taste of the flan. It was delicious. So, if there is an El Torito around where you live, try it out sometime. 🙂

What difference does it make?

What I mean is, why do people get all wrapped up and pissed off about things that do not really make any difference anyways in life? I mean really, what is the big deal about people just saying what they are feeling and thinking and then you just let it in one ear  and out the other?Why is it always necessary to try to pick a fight and get all stressed out over something that was never a big deal in the first place? Geez, relax! Everyone is allowed to have an OPINION, just don’t always expect that people will just embrace it! Take it easy. Get off my case. Let me live!!

The passing of precious TIME….

It isn’t possible,

Where did all of my precious time go?

I have had many sorrows,

I have also had many joys.

I imagine that this will be the answer for you as well.

So, many visits from family,

Many times spent with friends

Many hours reflecting on the memories of those lost to the other world

Many silent moments sitting in quiet and smiling.

I am blessed

I am strong

I will continue this journey

I will accept all that I am given

GOLFING FUN*

A man staggers into an emergency room with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat.

Naturally,the doctor asks him what happened.

“Well, it was like this,” said the man. “I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole, we both sliced our balls into a pasture of cows.”

“We went to look for them, and while I was rooting around noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end. I walked over and lifted up the tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife’s monogram on it– stuck right in the middle of the cow’s butt.”

“That’s when I made my big mistake.”

“What did you do?” asks the doctor.

“Well, I lifted the cow’s tail again and yelled to my wife, Hey, this looks like yours!”

“I don’t remember much after that”!

“My wife caught a Peeping Tom last night, and she’d have killed him if we hadn’t stopped her,” said George.

“He must have made her very angry, peeking at her, huh?” replied his friend.

“No, that’s not what made her the maddest,” the husband chuckled.

“It’s not?” asked the friend.

“No, she got mad when he reached in the window and closed the curtains!”

They had just awakened from a good night’s sleep.

He takes her hand and she responds, ‘Don’t touch me.’

‘Why not?’ he asked.

She answered, ‘Because I’m dead.’

The husband asked…’What are you talking about? We’re both lying here in bed together and talking to one another!’

She said, ‘No, I’m definitely dead.’

He insisted, ‘You are not dead. What in the world makes you think you’re dead?’

‘Because I woke up this morning and nothing hurts.’
