You guys have not seen me for a looong time because I have been staying focused on my priorities. Life sucks at times, but other times life can really bring you to a special place in your heart. Hard work does pay off, believe me! I hope all of you have been hanging in there these days.

I pride myself on the fact that I have common sense. These days, nothing around this world seems to make any sense. I mean, one minute things are quiet, the next there is a mass explosion! It seems like some people nowadays seem to feel they need to be heard, like back in the primative days. I guess some people get tired of talking to one another and reaching an agreement. I feel that politics nowadays adds fuel to the fire! The election process if bizarre. I mean it is what it is, but really? Chosing to be ignorant in life is a disease. Luckily, there is a cure for ignorance. It is called education. Be smart. Get smart. Use common sense.

My Dana Point Getaway

If you have a chance to get to Dana Point, CA…you will not be unhappy about your choice. The beaches are so inviting. The food is great. The people are so friendly. Everything is clean. There are many places to just sit and relax in private. If you feel like music, there are nice bars you can visit. I actually saw Charlie Sheen and spoke to him. Pretty cool, huh? Hope you are all well and happy. See you soon. Thanks for stopping in. This weekend I may head to my mountain house or Las Vegas. Tough choice. lol

GEEZ, NO BIRTHDAY LUNCH TODAY? My friends turn. :)

Yes, I went to lunch again today! This time with my mom, brother, and a good friend. It was her turn today to get all of the attention and fun. We went to a Mexican resturant and had the most delicious fajitas! It was at El Torito. They have  combo fajitas that are steak, pork, shrimp, and chicken that comes with unlimited side dishes and all of the trimmings! The place was packed. They sang to my friend in Spanish. She loved it because she understood every word. She was born in El Salvador. We all got to try a taste of the flan. It was delicious. So, if there is an El Torito around where you live, try it out sometime. 🙂

Happy Birthday to ME

I have to confess. I have been celebrating my birthday since the 5th of September. I am so lucky to have such good friends and great family! They just will not let me stop celebrating! I decided to give in and join them…with a smile! I have had so many delicious lunches. So many yummy cakes. So much quality time with everyone. That is the greatest gift!
