Times of Reflection

There will be many times when you come to a decision about some thoughts that have been swimming around in that brain of yours. Best to just let them swim, but change your style every once in a while. Play out all of those scenarios in your head, and figure which seems the most appetizing, at the time. Once you make a choice, I find that it is best to stick with it, as much as possible. For example, let us say you have been working for a company for 5 years. Another company makes you an interesting offer, you can not seem to refuse. If you feel you have looked it all over and it still seems like the right move for your situation at the time, then why not? Leaving you current company will feel kind of like a divorce. Your ready to make changes, but you wonder if you did the right thing. Normal. Life is all about BALANCE. If something in that brain of yours says, “I do not want to do this anymore!” Then maybe that will be the next decision you need to figure out. Such is LIFE. Just believe in yourself and have faith, hope, and love to guide you.

I have been blessed with senses

I can see

I can hear

I can smell

I can touch

I can taste

I respect the fact that others in this world may have different opinions about what ice cream flavor tasets better or who is cuter, your spouse or your favorite movie star. I can appreciate that you may not like rock and roll like I do, but you prefer jazz. I can relate to picking out the best smelling fragrance for you, and you might hate the one I wear. You may not like the feel of lotion on your body, so you do not use any.

What I am getting at is, we are all the same…yet, we do have our personal differences. So be it. I just wish we could all just SMILE at one another and transform each other into happy beings. Wouldn’t that be nice?

You know, all you can really do is live your life with whatever comes your way. You can plan all of this stuff in your head, but why bother. The next day, something usually happens and you have to do something else. You just spent the whole night losing sleep over it! For what? I plan on just taking each day with a smile on my face and dealing with whatever *hit is thrown at me. I figure if I try to have a positive attitude, it would be better for my health than a negative one. Do you not agree with that? It does not matter what anyone else thinks, just what I believe to be the best for me. So, I guess I got this out of me and now I can continue with my day. I do want you all to understand that I do appreciate your taking the time to stop by my blog.

Urban Dictionary: no-brainer
Something so obvious to be correct/appropriate, that it requires no contemplation to decide on.

I could not look at myself in a mirror knowing that I did not win something FAIR and SQUARE! If I was told by those working for me that things were done illegally so I would have a better chance to win, I would decline. If I promised to the people that I was going to change something for the better, I would die trying! I believe in standing by my word, my honor! I would not be able to look at those innocent individuals looking at me right in my eyes and just keep talking away INSTEAD of implementing ACTION to assist them in their lives. I would not say anything if I was not POSITIVE 100% that I would show the American people what I was doing. LYING is NEVER going to be a part of me. Saying things from my heart and with emotional attachments will be me! I may sound different than most, but I will not just SAY it, I will DO it! Anyone who gets TOO comfortable with their position in their workplace often gets a bit stale. Those new to the position always shine a new light on matters. In my opinion, it is a no-brainer who to vote for. You are who you are, so please vote as you see fit. Thanks for letting me get my opinion out there.

The Harsh Reality

The harsh reality is that nobody knows. You think you do, but you don’t. You think you have it all figured out, but you don’t. You look things up on your computer for hours and think you have found the answers, but you didn’t. You make all the charts you need to make to feel like you have it all organized, but you don’t. You talk on and on for hours on why you decision is the right decision, but it isn’t. Why, you ask? Well, if you spent all those hours  invested in something that is a possibility, why not spend all those hours investing in YOU. A person who is always searching for a solution is a person who is lost. I believe one needs to make peace within themselves before they can dream of a future that will bloom. When one reaches this point in their life, their thoughts will equal their actions. If you are happy just being who you are and welcome yourself with open arms when you see your image in the mirror, then you can say IT IS what it is.

The truth is….

The truth is that nobody really knows what the heck the truth is. We listen to one story and then we figure it sounds pretty good, so it must be the truth. Then someone else comes along and has to screw things up by saying some things that made more sense than what the other person just said. I mean “Really!” I do not need more confusion in my life right now. I just want to get up in the morning, get my coffee, look at my schedule for the day, and move ahead. I am sure I will be watching the clock all day long just waiting for that moment when I can just go home, take a deep breath, and go put my “fat clothes” on! No more sticking in my stomach. No more smiling pretty. No more wondering how my hair looks. You know, just hanging out! I did I mention that5 exciting moment when us girls get to finally take off that annoying bra! Wow, the best! You girls out there understand! So, I guess what I am trying to say is that we just have to take the day for what it is and figure out from many directions presented to us, which way to go with our actions. I guess today is my day to just ramble on. Oh well, thanks for listening. Have a great weekend!

A First for ME

Well, you have to believe me when I say that is actually me out there you see in the water. What am I doing? Well, my second son bought a KAYAK, with all of the gear. He insisted that I try it out! I could not leave until I did! I have to admit, I was a bit on the hesitant side. I would have rather had on my bathing suit instead of my new clothes I just got! I could see that my son REALLY wanted to see what would happen, so I did it! I am now hooked. I adjusted quickly to the balance issue. I got accustomed to getting wet! I sat in a puddle of water the whole time, put my pants finally dried! Once I got into the groove of kayaking, I did not want to stop! So, I guess I did learn that YOU CAN teach an old dog new tricks! lol Have fun!

Just staying calm…..

I decided to stay calm and not get stressed out with shopping for gifts. I am having fun just taking my time and looking around. I am not really buying much…yet. I did get a bunch of baskets and cookie tins at Costco. I love having them around to give to my company during the holidays. I also loaded up on coffee and tea. I love the smell of coffee brewing! My dining room is all light up and my Christmas tree is looking good. I love to have the lights on. I can’t wait for it to get dark out! I am really doing my best to ignore people who seem to want to put a damper on things. I always look for the positive in the situation. I am not getting caught up in the anger and hatred some people like to show this time of year. I think I will hang out with those that really appreciate life and the meaning of Christmas. I LOVE Christmas. I LOVE having people over and seeing them laugh and smile. That is the best present they can give me. I hope you all do your best to see the nice side of people. Try to ignore the other side, especially around the holidays. Oh well, just thinking out loud. Thanks for visiting. Have many smiles this week.
