Smile in Life

Each day we have choices.

We can just say that we have had enough and retreat.

We can also say that we have had enough, and do something about it.

In your little corner of the world, you can make a difference.

Make it for the better good of ALL of mankind.

Our existence can be resting in your hands.

The road that never ends

Decided to Re-blog this one I wrote a while back. 🙂

From the beginning, we are made to endure. We are nestled in our mother’s womb, peaceful and unobservant. We begin to recognize what we need to do to make our world a happier place. We begin the road that never ends.

We are born into an air of confusion. Noises and activity surround us everywhere. We are keen to what gets us attention. We continue on the road that never ends.

As we grow older, out brain is feed with information we have to learn to process, or we will continue to exist. We develop ways to stay alive and survive, not wanting to face the alternative. So, we continue on the road that never ends.

There are days that I wish to swim. There are days I wish to fly. There are those days I want to call a taxi. There are days I wish the road would end. What makes me get back on that path? What makes me even care? What gives me the strength to face the challenges thrown my way? It is faith. Faith in mankind. Faith in our existence. Faith in our destiny. Faith to believe.

May you all find the strength to take hold of the challenges that present you with an attitude of defeat. Believe in yourself and what you are able to do. Keep your faith in whatever you wish to believe. Make it happen.

Peace

Please accept me for who I am. The rewards will be endless.

Embrace life as ir should be. With uncertainty, yet hope.

Always make a commitment to yourself to do all you can. Defeat should not be an option.

Care for others as you would want others to care for you. Makes perfect sense to me.

Enjoy believing. Accept your limitations and seek to toss them from your dreams.

Are you stupid?

Definition of stupid: “having or showing a great lack of intelligence or common sense”

I am a person of fact. I always verify my information. I do not believe someone when they tell me something, until I can find facts to prove it. I rather have someone tell me flat out what their opinion of me is, rather than pretend and just act like every thing is good. I can always tell when someone is lying because of their eye movement and theri behavior. I hope you all find what ever it takes for YOU to be in charge of your behavior. YOU have a voice. YOU count. Just listen to what your persona is telling in. Rest. Think. Meditate. GET SMART.

Life is Short”

“They say it takes a minute

to find a special person.

An hour to appreciate them.

A day to love them,

but then an entire life

to forget them.”

This statement I found got me thinking about my friends and family. I recently lost my brother suddenly. We really do not know what the next day holds, so we should appreciate all that we have everyday. Getting upset over something that isn’t worth having a heart attack over is something we should learn to control. We should see each day as a challenge that will have positibe results. We should embrace life and enjoy every moment of it. I agree, life is short. That is why I try to do what I can when I can and not dwell on what I haven’t done yet . It gets you nowhere!

I Plan On

I was actually reading some of my poems I have written, and they seem ok to me. I wanted to share one with you. Hope you like it. Have fun in life. Be safe. 🙂 🙂

I PLAN ON……
I plan on being who I am

So, you plan on being you
I plan on telling it like I see it

You plan on whatever is your way
I plan on looking at life with a positive twist
You can do whatever makes it real for you
I plan on seeing the beauty in people

You can continue to make faces
I plan on keeping it real
You can do whatever makes it easy for you

We both have journeys to complete
How we do it only matters to us

Keep on talking

I have a problem

OK, I admit to at least this one!

Once I get in the mood to talk, I will not stop. It is not like I know that I should stop, I just do not want to! I can see the look in the persons eyes when I continue on with my stories. They wished they never asked me that question! I am sure you have been in these spots, at least a few times in your life! I do not always feel like talking. Most of the time I just like to be left alone so I can just do what I feel like. I love yoga and meditation. I do not like to do this in a group setting. I do not want to be around others often. I know that this must  sound crazy to you, but it is just normal for me. Always has been, and always will be. So, if you happen to see me or come over to my house, please be warned. lol

I hope you can also always say what you are feeling to others and always have an empathetic ear or two around. Hope you keep the faith!

Everyone has one

Everyone can appreciate its creativity

They come in all different shapes and sizes

They come attached with many rewards

Have you shown appreciation for your skull lately?

Just give it a cap. Give it a smile. Give it a rest every once in awhile.

My Brain

I have been blessed with senses

I can see

I can hear

I can smell

I can touch

I can taste

I respect the fact that others in this world may have different opinions about what ice cream flavor tasets better or who is cuter, your spouse or your favorite movie star. I can appreciate that you may not like rock and roll like I do, but you prefer jazz. I can relate to picking out the best smelling fragrance for you, and you might hate the one I wear. You may not like the feel of lotion on your body, so you do not use any.

What I am getting at is, we are all the same…yet, we do have our personal differences. So be it. I just wish we could all just SMILE at one another and transform each other into happy beings. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Thanks for stopping by and letting me chat with you a bit. I was a little lonely!
