You guys have not seen me for a looong time because I have been staying focused on my priorities. Life sucks at times, but other times life can really bring you to a special place in your heart. Hard work does pay off, believe me! I hope all of you have been hanging in there these days.

How long will I be prisoner to the emotions and sorrow I suffer each new day?

I pride myself on the fact that I have common sense. These days, nothing around this world seems to make any sense. I mean, one minute things are quiet, the next there is a mass explosion! It seems like some people nowadays seem to feel they need to be heard, like back in the primative days. I guess some people get tired of talking to one another and reaching an agreement. I feel that politics nowadays adds fuel to the fire! The election process if bizarre. I mean it is what it is, but really? Chosing to be ignorant in life is a disease. Luckily, there is a cure for ignorance. It is called education. Be smart. Get smart. Use common sense.

What the HE** just happened?

I guess this is a message to who ever is out there listening and reading about what is going on these days in this world of ours. It seems like we, the general public, are always allowing some of our strings to be moved if we consider we are just some kind of puppet in this society of ours. We seem to fall into the trap of just surrendering and just agreeing with what ever every one else is saying. Well, that bothers me. I was raised by 2 Italian parents who immigrated here, became citizens, and kept their Italian culture alive in their home and also kept the rules of the USA in their heads, and ours! My dad was always telling us to be proud to be AMERICANS, but do not forget where your parents were born. I listened. I went to college, working 2 jobs and paying for it MYSELF. I got a BA degree and then immediately starting working 2 jobs. I eventually got married and had 2 children. They both went to college and are also working 2 jobs. So, I feel very blessed. Our hard work and our prayers do count. You just have to keep focused on YOUR goals, not the other guys! YOU COUNT!

Demented Mom

If you think that you will understand me one day soon, you will not.
If you think that you will find a magic pill that will cure me, you will not.
If you think that I am happy doing and saying what I am, I am not.
If you think I can understand your look of confusion now, I do not.
If you can just leave me alone to be in my own little new  world, I will be fine.
You are not welcomed.

You are only there some of the time.
Most days, I just go along my merry way.
