Rest in Peace Mom

It is my belief that my mom is resting in peace now. She was lucky enough to live out her life the way she felt like. She overcame many struggles. She enjoyed many moments of happiness. She always did her best to make all of those around her happy. Since she is of Italian decent, she just loved to feed people! If you did not eat what she made, she would say, “What’s wrong with the food, eat!” LOL After a while, we all just surrendered and ate. LOL She worked until she was 81 years old as a food demo person at Costco Wholesale. She loved feeding all of the customers, especially the kids. LOL She took ill a few years ago. She managed to do her best. She passed quietly in her sleep at 85 years old. We should all be so lucky, huh?

We made an EVERIPEDIA page for my mom. You can do one for any of your loved ones that have passed. I was touched when the team did this.

Any prayers for my mom DELIA, would be appreciated.

Demented Mom

If you think that you will understand me one day soon, you will not.
If you think that you will find a magic pill that will cure me, you will not.
If you think that I am happy doing and saying what I am, I am not.
If you think I can understand your look of confusion now, I do not.
If you can just leave me alone to be in my own little new  world, I will be fine.
You are not welcomed.
You are not needed.
You are only there some of the time.
Most days, I just go along my merry way.
If I want to shout, I will.
If I want to try to get out of bed, I will.
If I want to spit out my food, I will.
If I do not want to take my medicine, it is my problem, not yours.
You can only do so much for those like me.
My body has already been invaded by the aliens that hate good mental health.
You can help by joining in the battle to fight this beast called dementia.
That would make me smile.

No matter what, just remember that I will always love you.

Thank you.

We have so many more visitors from all over the world. There are many people and companies that work so hard but never get an entry on Wikipedia. Say what?

If you had a choice between marrying a guy/girl with a lot of money but has a rotten personality or a guy/girl who had a great job but could stand to work on a few of their personal features…but REALLY loved you, who would you pick and why? RICH or LOVING?

Color your world with sunshine*

May you always believe. May you never give up hope. May you cherish your moments on this Earth every day. May you never look back and be sad. Live each day by coloring your world with sunshine. No matter what the weather. No matter what the challenge. I believe if you keep a positive approach to life, it will go on. Accept each challenge with a smile. Accept life with a sense of peace. You really have no choice when it comes down to it, right? Just live and do the best you can.

A First for ME

Well, you have to believe me when I say that is actually me out there you see in the water. What am I doing? Well, my second son bought a KAYAK, with all of the gear. He insisted that I try it out! I could not leave until I did! I have to admit, I was a bit on the hesitant side. I would have rather had on my bathing suit instead of my new clothes I just got! I could see that my son REALLY wanted to see what would happen, so I did it! I am now hooked. I adjusted quickly to the balance issue. I got accustomed to getting wet! I sat in a puddle of water the whole time, put my pants finally dried! Once I got into the groove of kayaking, I did not want to stop! So, I guess I did learn that YOU CAN teach an old dog new tricks! lol Have fun!
