“Do or do not… there is no try.”…I AM OFF*

I have a lot of stuff I have to do.
Trying to do them is not working.
Part of the reason is because I am taking too much time doing things I really do not need to be doing…right now.
Blogging is one of them.
There are many, believe me.
I am happy to be here to do them… I just need to “Do or do not…there is no try.”
So, excuse my absence. I can not make any guess as to when I will return. I only know that I will return…one day.
Until then, I wish you ALL the very best. You have been so loving and supportive of me and my crazy ways. I appreciate that. I will miss you all. Those of you who have been with me for a long time…I will be thinking of you even more. Even though we have never met in person, I feel as if we have been close friends for soooo lomg.

DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY IN LIFE…WITHOUT HURTING OTHERS IN THE PROCESS*

Happiness is defined by each of us in out own way, as it should be. I believe a person should be able to be who they are…with NO conditions. I mean, as long as a person is not hurting someone else, they should be able to express themselves in ways that make THEM happy. I am happiest when I see smiles on the faces of others I am with. That makes ME feel very happy and content. I recently had my birthday celebration. My hubby made me happy by gifting me with this very attractive top. I am smiling because I KNOW the torture he went through for me. He hates to shop! lol So, for him to actually take the time to pick something out for me…makes me feel even happier. So, whatever it is that makes you happy in life, do it. What are you all waiting for?

RETIREMENT is DIFFERENT for EVERYONE

One day, while going to the store, I passed by Lanark Lodge. On the Front lawn were six old ladies lying naked on the grass. I thought this was a bit unusual, but continued on my way to the store.

On my return trip, I passed the same nursing home with the same six old ladies lying naked on the lawn.

This time my curiosity got the best of me, & I went inside to talk to the Nursing Home Administrator.
‘Do you know there are six ladies lying naked on your front lawn?’

‘Yes,’ she said. ‘They’re retired prostitutes & they’re having a yard sale.’

This is the craziest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
For those of you in the 21st century (e.g. Blackberry
Owners), you’ll need to look at this on a PC. You also
have to get out of your seat and walk away from
your computer. People may think you’re crazy. But it’s well worth it.

When you look at this picture you see it’s Albert Einstein.

But if you stand 15 feet away it will become Marilyn Monroe.

1. My mom is going to have PT. She is getting better…day by day. THANK YOU ALL for your love and support.

2. I have wonderful friends who have started making me celebrate my birthday…last week. lol I am having toooo much fun. I will be hanging around as much as possible. Stay well and happy.

3. My kids will be done with summer school soon and we will be taking a mini vacation. They have worked hard and need to play a bit, right? Hope you are all doing what makes you happy in this life.

Thankful…my thoughts*

I am thankful for this life…
It brings me many adventures…
Some which I would prefer to pass on…
But, I do take them on with a vengeance.

For it stands for my existence.

As I think of all that has happened recently…
