How are you?

What goes through your head when someone asks you, “How are you?” Are you ready to just start in with how you are REALLY feeling OR are you just going to answer, “Fine, how about you?:

Well, I take every question someone asks me seriously. Maybe I over analyze words, but I figure if they ask me how I am…I am going to speak the truth. If someone asks me a question like this and expects me to give them a quick answer, then I wish they would not even ask. I realize you may be thinking, “How are they to know I feel this way?” Well, why wouldn’t I?”

So, I guess what I am trying to say is…Before you ask someone how they are…think about if you really care!!!! If not, PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

  1. If some one asks me “How are you ” I will say “I are okay” If he continues to ask “Are you” I will politely say “I are” -He will never ask me again for fear of my command over the language–

  2. As a teenager…I asked that question of “How are you?” when working in a local shop…and was asked back “Do you really care?”…I learned my lesson…I said yes and then listened several minutes while he told me how he really felt….a lesson best to learn when your young…have a great weekend…and yes I really do hope it’s a good one. 🙂

    • 🙂 I also learned that lesson a long time ago. The sooner, the better. It would be nice if families taught it mandatory! 🙂 I will be celebrating my anniversary on Sunday, 29 years married. lol I guess I am stuck with him and he with me. Have a fantastic weekend also. 🙂
