The Command of Sir Health…….

Sir Health is a constant invader into my life.

His wife, Madam Scale is a real pain in the ass as well.

Sir Health seems to think I should not be consuming certain foods.

Madam Scale always seems to agree with him.

Sir Health feels that I do not get enough fruit.

Madam Scale proves to me every morning that he is right again.

Sir Health seems to feel I should eat more lean meats and veggies.

Madam Scale, once again has to show me he is right!

Sir Health wants me to say bye bye to lots of sugar.

Madam Scale goes off the charts on that one!

So, I am kind of listening. I have been changing what I throw in my mouth every day. I do seem to be leaning more towards the food items that are better for my system. I have to admit I have more energy. I have been going to workout at the gym. That is one of the reasons you have not seen me lately. I do feel better drinking Almond milk. I usually have a glass before bed. It is soothing for me. I love eating my greek yogurt with my gluten free waffle every morning I can. I top it off with fresh blueberries. I have been hooked on spinach salads. I have developed a taste for feta cheese, supposedly good for my blood type. I have been eating bread, but not as much. I also love protein, so I have some in between meals. I guess I am getting into this whole scene. Sorry if I bore you all with this rambling. I guess I am going now. American Idol is on tonight? Do you watch?

  1. I didn’t think you rambled at all. :+) Good Job! Look at you eatting all healthy and going to gym! That’s Great I’m glad your feeling good with lots of energy that really is a nice incentive. I’ve been pumping iron with my one 4 pound pink weight. I tell Navar Welcome to the gun show! He just laugh that’s OK. Now I’m rambling oh well Keep up the good work.

  3. Wow, you are good. I’m still sneaking chocolate and cheese. As soon as my daughter has the baby she and I are going back on weight watchers. I can’t seem to do it alone but we do it well together. I love baby spinach salads better than any other types of salad and Greek yogurt is the best. You are a good influence on me.

  4. Good for you Louisa. The changes will only benefit you. I agree about more energy. I weakened yesterday & had a Burger King chicken & bacon burger. It was my 1st junk food in about 2 – 3 months & it made me feel bloated & sick afterwards.

TO PUT IT IN A NUTSHELL YOU HAVE BECOME MORE HEALTH CONSCIOUS,RIGHT ?–FOR MY PART I GAVE UP EATING NON VEGETARIAN FOODS LONG BACK–I AM OF THE OPINION THAT AFTER 40 YRS OF AGE ONE SHOULD GO SLOW ON FOODS AND DISCARD THOSE WHICH MAKE YOU PUT ON WEIGHT –I HAVE BEEN MAINTAINING ALMOST THE SAME WEIGHT FOR SO MANY YEARS–FEELING LIGHT WHEN I “PEARMBULATE MY PEDAL EXTREMITIES” FROM PLACE TO PLACE IS THE WAY I LIKE TO BE —

    • Lviss, I so miss you when you do not appear with your marvelous comments. I do agree that the older we get, the less food we should consume. I agree we should get rid of the foods that make us feel “different.” That is a good sign to me that maybe my body would rather eat something else. lol Thank you for sharing with us all. I do so appreciate it. Oh, I noticed now that I have something showing me where people are visiting from. I have a handful from India. You could spread the world? lol I would be happy to share my crazy viewpoint with all people in this world. 😎
