I am going to change my blog format. I decided to drop this whole questioning series. How do you all feel about my decision?

  1. I say it’s your blog, do what you want with it! Have fun!

  2. I couldn’t have said it any better than JAM. Do what makes YOU happy and don’t worry about anyone else.

  3. I can not believe you are running out of questions to ask people on your blog! People seem to enjoy commenting. Your decision! Maybe you can do it part of the time?

    • Well, believe me..I have no problem coming up with questions to ask! lol I think I just find it to be “too normal!” I want to do something..”different!” Maybe I will change my opinion ,over time!

  4. I know what you mean Luisa about it seeming “to normal.” What I started my blog a little more than a year ago, I was the only one doing it and I did it because my oldest son suggested it as a way for me to keep people coming back each day and as a good way for everyone to get to know each other. He suggested I do what some radio channels do, those questions they ask but you can’t do that on a blog. To many people “could” find the answer if they wanted to and once someone knew the answer, game over so I adopted “Question of the day” on April 28, 2008 and I think it’s VERY hard. That is one question a day for over a year. I find it very hard to think these up each day. I’ll do a marathon of them and get a few weeks worth done ahead of time.

You’re right though. I seem to see them on everyone’s blog now and if that had been the case back then I wouldn’t have done it but I was the only one I knew who was doing it.

  5. Hi Joy, I also did some research on “Question of the Day,” since they were in newspapers and sites that I visited regarding mental health issues. I felt that people were interested in expressing their opinions…when they felt they were not under threat. I find your questions to be interesting and fun. 🙂 Will I or won’t I ask a question? ??????? Have not decided yet!

    • Yes, see I like the questions that your everyday Joe can answer and I like to keep them very “light”. If I think something to “heavy” then I do a main post on it. I like the ones that keep us all real and show how alike we all are and we all put our pants on one leg at a time. There’s so much people argue about but you can’t take “over the roll or under the roll” away from anyone 😉

  6. I WILL ASK YOU A QUESTION . WHY DO YOU WANT TO STOP IT.? IT ADDS VARIETY . SOMETIMES YOU JOKE, SOMETIMES QUERY , SOMETIMES NARRATE AN INCIDENT, MANY A TIME YOU HAVE US IN CHUCKLES.

  7. ONE THING YOU CAN DO IS TO YOU MERGE YOUR OTHER BLOG LAUGHTER THE BEST MEDICINE WITH THIS AND HAVE ONE WINDOW FOR BOTH SO THAT WE WONT HAVE TO GO FROM HERE TO THERE TO EXERCISE OUR SMILING MUSCLES. . YOU CAN HAVE ONE OR TWO QUESTIONS FOR A MONTH AND CALL IT QUESTION OF THE MONTH.

    • Iviss, you make some very good points. The main reason I started LaughwithDoraz was because I have a lot of people who just want to laugh and not read all the other stuff on blogs! I pick jokes that are suitable for the younger and older bloggers. I have fun, myself…coming up with a new joke to find. I wanted to keep dorazsays as a more creative…by me…blog. So, even though I sometimes put funny stuff on dorazsays, I leave the jokes to LaughwithDoraz aka LAUGHTER..The Best Medicine!*

  8. I honestly have to say I really agree with Iviss. I like the idea of the combination of things. I for one, don’t like everything to be the same so I just don’t go to “joke” blogs. I like the whole variety of things. Neither would a go to just a “question” blog. You know? I like the variety of the blogs I go to or I wouldn’t go to them.

    • Joy, you do not know all of the fun you are missing! You are even welcomed to use all of the jokes you like on your blog, if you like…I just find them on the internet. I keep my stuff suitable for all ages. Take a peek…ahh…go ahead Joy, I won’t tell! 🙂

      • The truth be told, I like the communication part of blogging. I’m not a big fan of a bunch of jokes. To me, this is only my opinion, I don’t enjoy them all that much. Other than “that’s cute” or “LMAO,” there’s no talking back and forth with jokes. You know? You may not believe this either but I’m not a fan of comedians. I would never go to just a joking around blog. I like the meatier things. I like talking. Can you tell? Jokes don’t inspire people to communicate. You may laugh but your not talking. If I had my blog alone, I probably wouldn’t have any of the jokes I do now but they aren’t mine.

I like this blog but I have fun discussing things instead of just making a lighthearted comment about a joke. Does that make sense to you? It makes sense in my head and when I try to write it, it’s not coming out the same.

        • Joy, I understand! I also love to talk and communicate. That is partly my business, and MOST:Y who I am. In my world, I use a lot of humor to lighten over difficult situations. It works for me. I also have the more creative writing side…that is why I have dorazsays.com also on wordpress! I started the other blog because I was asked by a bunch of people and I could not turn them down! It is a lot of work, but I enjoy it! The majority of the visitors just want some stuff to have float around the office to make their day go by a little faster! I love comedy, if it is done right. I do not like the vulgar language in it. I feel it is not needed. Just my opinion! 🙂

  9. hello doraz its dennis the vizsla dog hay hmmm perhaps yoo cud start feetchering awthentik undoktord pikchers of animals wot ar engayjd in aktiviteez sutch as time travel and doing battel with marawding skwirrel hoodlums and helikopter piloting bunneez wot do yoo think??? ok bye

  10. Oh I forgot to answer the question because I got caught up in the hilarity of the awthentik undoktord pikchers Ha Ha Cracking up again… That crazy brown dog

I agree with those who say to do it how you want, I like your blog no matter what you decide.

I remember the Noz/Nooch dorks & their supporters that reckoned my blog was dull & offered nothing special to the Blogosphere compared to those guys who just copied Youtube videos & other stuff from the net. I say to hell with them, I write what I like to write about & if that’s not good enough for anyone else then I don’t care…. Oops am I starting to rant & sound bitter???? 🙂

  11. Gosh, I’m agreeing with Tony again. A blog is supposed to be for YOU, not anybody else. Do what ever you want to do.

That being said, what are you going to do?
