  1. You touched a chord for me with this question. I worte this blog some time ago, this is my answer.

    • newme, thanks for sharing that beautiful story with us about your dad. He was a very wise man! I understand how hard it is to lose a friend, your dad. My dad died 21 years ago. I miss him! 🙂

  2. He told me that any man I am with should treat me like a princess and I should treat him like a prince, then we would live happily ever after!
    He was right!

  3. Two things actually:

    1. You can probably do nearly anything you put your mind to.

    2. You can be a Christian and still have a lot of fun.

My Dad was a brilliant, clever man. I miss him.

  4. “If you s**t in one hand and wish in the other, which hand gets full faster?” I used to always say “I wish” this and “I wish” that and it made me really stop and think and I still hear that saying all the time run through my mind.

  5. Always keep a hundred dollar bill tucked away in your wallet in case of an emergency. He gave my brother & I each a hundred dollar bill when we turned 18. I had to use mine once for a roadside car repair and I replace it immediately.

  6. Treat others the way you expect to be treated in return.

    Thanks Dad!!

  7. I enjoyed reading the Dad’s advice from others. My Dad ….Do as I say and not as I do. Gosh I’m drawing a little bit of a blank. I’ll have to come back to this one later.
