newme, thanks for sharing that beautiful story with us about your dad. He was a very wise man! I understand how hard it is to lose a friend, your dad. My dad died 21 years ago. I miss him! 🙂
He told me that any man I am with should treat me like a princess and I should treat him like a prince, then we would live happily ever after!
He was right!
Sounds like great advice to me!
Two things actually:
1. You can probably do nearly anything you put your mind to.
2. You can be a Christian and still have a lot of fun.
My Dad was a brilliant, clever man. I miss him.
S.Le…yes, he was VERY clever!
My dad was always dishing out fun and facts of life!
I miss him!
“If you s**t in one hand and wish in the other, which hand gets full faster?” I used to always say “I wish” this and “I wish” that and it made me really stop and think and I still hear that saying all the time run through my mind.
Joy, You’re Dad is cool!
Always keep a hundred dollar bill tucked away in your wallet in case of an emergency. He gave my brother & I each a hundred dollar bill when we turned 18. I had to use mine once for a roadside car repair and I replace it immediately.
Just a Mom, we did that for our older son who commutes to college every day! Smart Dad !
Treat others the way you expect to be treated in return.
Thanks Dad!!
Gary…I use that one, too. Good advice!
I enjoyed reading the Dad’s advice from others. My Dad ….Do as I say and not as I do. Gosh I’m drawing a little bit of a blank. I’ll have to come back to this one later.
OK…Starla!
THE THRASHING ,I GOT,
