If you have certain adult people in your life that you need to continually repeat things over to, how does that make you feel?

  1. It drives me crazy when I have to keep repeating something over and over again. This happens quite often in grocery stores. You ask them where something is and they look at you and say, “What?”

  2. I DO, I DO, IT DRIVES ME NUTS! I AM NOT SURE IF THEY JUST DO NOT LISTEN OR IF THEY ARE JUST TO DUMB TO FIGURE IT OUT! MY NIGHT JOB IS DISPATCHING TRUCK DRIVERS DO I HAVE TO SAY ANY MORE!

  3. It depends on who it is. I am extremely patient with old people but not teenagers. Sometimes when Husband is obviously not listening and I must repeat, I do get a bit miffed.

So I suppose the answer to your question is yes.

  4. I’ve just stopped talking to them. I live with someone like this and our conversations have been cut way down. It’s a bad habit and I’ve given up. Even when he hears me he says “huh!”

  5. That annoys the crap out of me. It makes me feel like what I have to say is not important enough to be heard.

The exception to this would be old people of course.

  6. With elderly I am very patient (birds of the same feather) Youngsters may do it just for style. well , a husband not listening to his wife is understandable . After all thats what he does most of the time .

  7. I feel I must speak on my wife’s behalf on this question. It drives her nuts when I say “I don’t remember” or “I didn’t hear you”
