  1. Since I do not have one yet and use yours, it is whenever you are home!

  2. II tend to just turn it on when I need to, and then I make comments, if I am in the mood! Like this!

  3. I have two computers, a desktop computer and a laptop computer. My desktop computer is in my office where I mostly edit and store my photos. It’s also my “work” computer because I design wedding albums and such on it. I NEVER turn it off. I reboot it from time to time but it never goes off unless we lose power.

My laptop computer sits on the table next to my favorite chair in the living room. It is turned on first thing in the morning and doesn’t go off until I go to bed. I use my desktop to blog with and surf the net.

  4. I have 3 computers in my residence. My Apple stays on all the time. My 2 PC machines get shut down/restarted whenever they are not in use.

  6. I always have my computers on –
As a software consultant, I work with computers, and some serve as servers on my home network.

The only time I switch a computer of is when I will be away on business trip for more than a week.

  7. Off and on as needed.

  8. I put it to sleep when I’m not using it … possibly I put it to sleep when I do use it too.

  9. Put it off when I dont use it. THis I understand is the correct thing to do.

  10. The only time I turn mine off is if there’s a thunderstorm and lightning is involved.

  11. I turn mine off when not in use. We have a rule for the computer and the tv that if you turn it off it stays off for at least 30 minutes.

  12. I turn my off. I’ll use “hibernate” during the day and “shut down” at night.

  13. i even shut it down in the evening. I jsut close the laptop – but leave it on. next morning i just open it and can continue. this way i save at least 5min the f$%&/ system takes to boot.
