Tranquility in Friendship……….*

Image Hosted by

I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with one of my “best” friends today! I never laughed so much! I was in tears the whole time! The waitress kept asking us if every thing was OK! We told her it couldn’t have been better! We ordered one of our favorite dishes from the restaurant that we have even memorized the menu, we go there so much! The salmon nicoise salad and their fresh bread rolls are too good! I would have to say that this lunch meeting was all about “expressing ourselves!” We went on and on about stuff that has been bugging us and we just talked and talked about ridiculous things! Yes, we did complaining! Yes, we did roll our eyes a lot! Yes, we did say some “stuff” about people who have been bugging us! We did it all with a positive attitude and no malice. We, luckily both have a great sense of humor! I realized, once again what a powerful hold a friend has over you when it comes to “feeling better” about things and moving on…that is,until the next lunch! I would not trade my “best” friends for all of the money in the world! Well, honestly……….I WOULD have to think about that one!!

  4. I’m with Starla on this. I liked the way she said someone “get’s you.” That says it all. It’s also cool if you don’t see that person for a while and once together, it all still fits and you can pick right up like you never missed a beat. I love my best friend.

  5. Sounds like an awesome lunch to me!
