HONESTY…..Such a Simple word….Difficult for some!

Come take a look at this cartoon)

I believe for any relationship to work, there has to be honesty. Without it, in my opinion, it will eventually fail…big time! I believe the more honest you are with your own feelings, the more honest you can be with others. Game playing should be left to all the different sports that are out there, not to romance! I believe that even if it is something that is REALLY bad, in your opinion, you need to be honest. If two people are meant to be together, they will be able to work anything out. Yes, I did say ANYTHING! So, honesty works for me. I realize everyone needs to do their own thing, just wanted to put my take out there!

  1. How about those little white lies? Are they ok?

  2. I vote for those little white lies, too! HaHa Keeps things nice, if you know what I mean.

  3. I am not sure on those little white lies. I think I would rather have a person tell me straight up!

  4. I think white lies help keep fights from getting blown out of proportion… prevents over reacting. So what if I ate your chocolate? No need to turn this into an argument on how I ALWAYS take things without asking!

  5. Ranmon, you NEVER take chocolate from a girl! Especially if it is the last piece and it is too late to go buy more! This could start a war! HaHaHa Have a great weekend!

  6. I think that being honest with yourself is the key. If you feel you are worthy for others to be honest to you, then they will be. I never hurt anyone’s feelings, if I do not have to.

  7. Bah! Chocolate can be loved by a man as much as any woman. So delectable! Anyways, it’s “our” chocolate now!

  8. I totally agree with you 🙂

  9. Thanks Hackett for stopping by! Have a great and rewarding 2009!

  10. I absolutely think the little white lies, the ones that don’t hurt anyone, are needed. I was recently pretty excited when I got something new and had someone tell me they didn’t like it. It served no purpose. They knew I really liked it so why would someone say that??? A “it’s cute” wouldn’t have hurt anyone. It’s different if you say “do you like this one or this one” but I’d already gotten it and it hurt my feelings. I’m not talking about something important but “little” nothing things.

  11. Joy, I agree with you! Your friend could have shared in your excitement! My friends have told me they made comments like that in the past because they were jealous at that moment they did not have what I had! Well, if that is the case, say that instead…do not hurt my feelings! UGH!
