Seasonal Inspiration……….

I am so lucky in many ways. I reflect on them each day. I do not allow myself to get pulled into the anguish of being anything, but thankful. I never take a moment in life for granted. I am lucky and thankful I have as many as I do! I take the time to notice the pain and suffering on the faces of those around me. I take the time to notice a smile. I take the time to show kindness to others. I take the time to care. I am not upset I do not weigh what I’d like. Instead, I am happy I am not thin due to an illness. I am not upset that I do not drive the car of my choice. I am happy I do not have to walk instead. I am not upset that I do not have millions of dollars. I am happy I have enough to do what I need to do. I am not upset I do not have a closet full of designer clothes and shoes. I am happy to be able to pick out of what I do have. I am thankful for my health. I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my friends. I am just thankful. I am enjoying every moment of this holiday season, with all its good and bad. I never know if it will be my last. That is what motivates me to write cards, exchange gifts, go to parties, have people over, and …whatever it takes!
