Just talking…..

I am just being lazy today. I am exhausted from all of the activities of Thanksgiving. I was not even going to attempt shopping today. Did you?

I am just going to wait this year with gift buying. I have a few ideas, but I am not ready to take the leap. There are so many stores out there with deals, I am sure I will have no problem if I wait. What are you planning to do about shopping for gifts?

I really like to get into the spirit of this time of year. To me, it is a magical time. I wish it stayed the same way all year long, don’t you?

I am blessed to be in good health. I am blessed to have my family at home. I am blessed in many ways that I do not take for granted. Do you feel you need more blessings or do you have enough?

I will be stopping in every now and then. I am sure I will smile when I visit your blogs. Have fun with blogging. Have fun with life. It is meant to be lived.

Hope you are all well and happy. I sure am. My son who moved to Texas is back home. All is good. He will be starting a new job here. I am soooo happy! I hope you all find peace and happiness in your life. Be sure to vote. You matter!

Getting Old…..

I don’t know about you all, but I am getting SO TIRED of all the nasty attitudes people are showing because of this election. One of my friends shared these with me. I needed to laugh. Hope if you are in the same place..these help!

…….VOTE…….

I very quietly confided to my best friend that I was having an affair.
She turned to me and asked, ‘Are you having it catered’?
And that, my friend, is the definition of ‘OLD’!

Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very
elderly widow and asked, ‘How old was your husband?’
’98,’ she replied: ‘Two years older than me’
‘So you’re 96,’ the undertaker commented.
She responded, ‘Hardly worth going home, is it?’

Reporters interviewing a 104-year-old woman:
‘And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?’ the reporter
asked.
She simply replied, ‘No peer pressure.’

I’ve sure gotten old!
I’ve had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought
prostate cancer and diabetes I’m half blind, can’t hear anything quieter
than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy,
winded, and subject to blackouts.
Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and
feet anymore.
Can’t remember if I’m 85 or 92.
Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver’s
license.

I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape, so I got my doctor’s
permission to join a fitness club and start exercising.
I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors. I bent, twisted,
gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour..
But, by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over.

An elderly woman decided to prepare her will and told her preacher she had
two final requests.
First, she wanted to be cremated, and second, she wanted her ashes
scattered over Wal-Mart.
‘Wal-Mart?’ the preacher exclaimed. ‘Why Wal-Mart?’
‘Then I’ll be sure my daughters visit me twice a week’.

My memory’s not as sharp as it used to be.
Also, my memory’s not as sharp as it used to be.

Know how to prevent sagging?
Just eat till the wrinkles fill out.

It’s scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

These days about half the stuff in my shopping cart says, ‘For fast
relief.’

THE SENILITY PRAYER :

fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Pace…Peace…

I feel it is time..once again…to return to my place of peace. I need to find the time to concentrate on my personal growth, both mentally and spiritually.I will only keep positive thoughts of you all in my quest. I wish you all the abliity to make peace within your souls and find the true path of happiness in this life.

I have decided to focus on individuals who will bring positive energy to this world. I will focus on strength. Beliefs. Values. Ethics. Commitment. Dignity. Self-Respect. Truthfulness. Unity. World peace.

I am not pleased with politics. I am more of a business woman. I believe in getting things done. I believe in being consistent and empathetic.I believe you should be made proud of what you accomplish. I believe we should all believe we can accomplish. My parents came to America from Italy. They were proud to become citizens and start contributing to this great nation. They raised us to believe we could do anything with hard work and truth. They did not ask for any help, they did it with the support of family and friends. They taught us to be proud of what we do and what we have.

I am sure I will be back. Until then, stay happy and healthy. I am sure I will be by to check on you all. Have fun blogging.
