As I watch my children grow up

I notice the question marks on their foreheads vanishing

Their eyes seem to glisten with happiness

As if they just won the state lottery.

I will dream and wish this inner peace

will stay with them forever…

Since when has what I have

believed mattered to you?

Have you no say in your life?

Have you no choices?

Then stand tall and speak them

I am just remembering…….

My dad would have been shaking his head

at all of the grief this world has seen lately.

He would have been wondering if

he made the wrong move coming to America.

He would have thought that things

would be better by now.

He would have expected it from others.

He was one to not take life for granted.

He enjoyed the moments he shared with us all.

He looked at the beauty in life and smiled.

He was thankful for each given day.

One night he just fell asleep.He never saw the next day.

His heart could take it no longer.

His brain was at rest.

Now I belive him to be with God.

I believe him to be watching over us.

I believe he is still sad about things

in this world.

I, like him do believe that

one day it will all be peaceful.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of my dad’s passing.

I think of him everyday.

I miss him a lot.

I do smile everyday remembering all of the

times we got to spend together.

Love one another.

Just talking…..

I am just being lazy today. I am exhausted from all of the activities of Thanksgiving. I was not even going to attempt shopping today. Did you?

I am just going to wait this year with gift buying. I have a few ideas, but I am not ready to take the leap. There are so many stores out there with deals, I am sure I will have no problem if I wait. What are you planning to do about shopping for gifts?

I really like to get into the spirit of this time of year. To me, it is a magical time. I wish it stayed the same way all year long, don’t you?

I am blessed to be in good health. I am blessed to have my family at home. I am blessed in many ways that I do not take for granted. Do you feel you need more blessings or do you have enough?

I will be stopping in every now and then. I am sure I will smile when I visit your blogs. Have fun with blogging. Have fun with life. It is meant to be lived.

The right kind of fear can be a pathway to peace……..

My immediate thought is death…

So final…

So tragic…

So inspiring?

I am referring to one’s faith…

In the heaven’s above…

In life after death…

Such a superior place?

Can there really be a future after death?

Can all of us be reunited?

Can all of our pain and suffering disappear?

I do feel inner peace with those possibilities.

Who are we to say they do not exist?

Which one should I buy????

I am stuck. I like them all for different reasons. I really only want to buy one. What is your thought on this matter?

Happy Thanksgiving 2011

Well, it is that time of year again. All kinds of new things developing around us. You got all kind of crazy stuff going on in politics. The media is having some issues. The economy is keeping us in mood swings. Our bank accounts are changing in all kinds of directions. People are smiling less and crying more. I guess in all of that, we do have a lot of things to be thankful for. We are alive. We are able and ready to take on all challenges. We have a right to free choice. We have a right to our freedom. We have a right to our faith. My faith keeps me strong. My faith gives me peace. I hope all of you find your peace this Thanksgiving and every day of your life. Believe it can be so, and it is amazing how things change for the better. I will try to hang out more with you all. I wish you all the very best…always.
