Some ministers were talking about death and dying over coffee at the local cafe. “What would you want people to say about you at your funeral?” one of them asked.
“I’d want people to say, ‘He was a great and compassionate humanitarian who cared about those in need,” responded a recently retired minister.
“I’d like for people to say, ‘He was a good father and husband, a man whose life was a fine example for others to follow,” intoned another.
“Oh, I’d like for people to remember me for my fine sermons and church growth,” said the newest member of the group.
A grizzled old farmer leaned over from the next table and said, “That’s all well and good, fellas, but I’d rather hear ‘em say ‘Look, he’s moving!’”
I feel it is time..once again…to return to my place of peace. I need to find the time to concentrate on my personal growth, both mentally and spiritually.I will only keep positive thoughts of you all in my quest. I wish you all the abliity to make peace within your souls and find the true path of happiness in this life.
I have decided to focus on individuals who will bring positive energy to this world. I will focus on strength. Beliefs. Values. Ethics. Commitment. Dignity. Self-Respect. Truthfulness. Unity. World peace.
I am not pleased with politics. I am more of a business woman. I believe in getting things done. I believe in being consistent and empathetic.I believe you should be made proud of what you accomplish. I believe we should all believe we can accomplish. My parents came to America from Italy. They were proud to become citizens and start contributing to this great nation. They raised us to believe we could do anything with hard work and truth. They did not ask for any help, they did it with the support of family and friends. They taught us to be proud of what we do and what we have.
I am sure I will be back. Until then, stay happy and healthy. I am sure I will be by to check on you all. Have fun blogging.
Believe in Yourself;

I know of your existence… Cause you greet me with your words… They bring me smiles… They bring me laughter… They bring me hope of peace in this world…
I am fortunate to be able… To enter your world for a while… That brings me smiles… That brings me laughter… That brings me hope of peace in this world…
I can feel the sorrow of some of you… By the sadness in your words… What can I do to bring you a smile… What can I do to bring you laughter… What can I do to make you feel at peace with this world…
I will start by telling you all… I AM THINKING OF YOU * * * MAKE IT A PEACEFUL DAY * * Believe in Yourself;
Well, tomorrow is my birthday. September 5th is my special day. I sometimes think I should just skip my birthday, but then I am reminded by family and friends that it is a special day. The day I was introduced to this crazy world of ours. lol I guess I should be happy that others want to share my happiness, right? Well, my family and friends have NO problem with making me feel special. They take me out to eat. They get me so many delicious desserts. They buy me such cute girts. I am honestly touched by all the fuss. I feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people in my life. I treasure the times I spend with them all. Memories are in my heart. I hold on to them and they help me smile when I am in one of those moods. So, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you out there who are making my birthday an extra special day. I understand everyone is busy with things in their lives, so I really so appreciate it. Hope you all have a wonderful life. Stay happy. Stay healthy. Stay in touch. Smile often. Love you all!
I am sure that many times in your life you have said to yourself, ” I should of said yes.” I as also sure that there were many times you said, ” I am sure glad I said no.”
Well, I am talking about those times when you know that the situation you are in lead to an answer that required a yes or no, it MIGHT be better to say yes and live the experience. I want to make it perfectly clear that I am NOT referring to anything that is dangerous to your health, either physically or mentally. I am referring to those times when your mom and dad ask if you want to grab a bite to eat with them and you make an excuse to not go because you do not want to be seen with them. I am talking about those times your parents ask you to get dressed nicely and go with them to church and you say you do not feel good because you are not really into it. I am also talking about those times that a friend might need your help with something as simple as helping them cook a meal they are having troublke with, and you say you are not real good at cooking just because you rather just sit there and watch them struggle.
So I say in my opinion, if you say yes more in this life to helping another feel more a little happier…so will you.
If you decide to make a commitment to your local charity and stick to it, they will win and so will you.
If you decide to look at your parents as people and stop labeling them your parents, you will see that they are pretty cool and you will be as well.
If you tell the coach you will do your very best…no excuses, you will be a winner even if you lose the race.
Keep a balance in your life. Say yes when it works.
If you have ever felt like things were only going to get worse. If you have felt like you just did not have what it takes. If you have just resolved yourself to being a failure. Then, listen up. You are not alone. Many have been in the same situation before. Many have felt like they just wanted to stop everything. Many have felt like they just did not have what it takes to succeed.
I feel many come to these conclusions because they lack support. Many lack love. Many lack friendships. Many lack family.
There are also many out there in this world that REALLY do care. They REALLY want to help. They REALLY want to give you whatever inspiring words you might need to move on. I say to you all, find these people. Look in your community. Look to your religious institutions. Look to your governemnt agencies. Just take the time to look.
Reason being, you do matter. You do count. You do have a statement to make to this world. You do have what it takes to succeed.
Succeeding can mean many things. Good health. Good friends. Good family. Good job. Good peace. Good judgement. Good…lots of things.
Just Believe in Yourself. You have to be the one to take the first step. You have to be the one who makes the right choices about your life. You have the power. You just might need a little support along the way.
I never pass on support. I never pass on opinions from others. I never pass on acheiving peace within my soul.
Make today to first day of your new challenge. The world awaits. Stay well. Stay healthy. Smile often.
I just got back from a wonderful weekend trip. Faria State beach is just beautiful. We camped right near the waves. We could climb the rocks and jump right in! We were right next door to Rincon, where you can park your RV right on the road next to the beach! Emma Woods State Beach was also close by, all within biking distance. We got to see beautiful sunsets. We saw a whale, a shark, sea lions, seagulls, and all kinds of little critters running around. I was always entertained. The people we camped next to were very nice. We all got a chance to tell some crazy stories. lol One night a good friend and her husband came for a visit. We had Cinco de Mayo fun! I made so many new friends, I love it. There is like a community when you go camping. We all shared all of our stuff with one another. I got to eat some pretty amazing food. I hope you like the photos. I did have my camera ready. My binoculars were used a lot also! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Have a week full of many smiles.
** If any of my new friends are visiting….Very nice to have spent some time with you all.
What was the worst thing that happened this week to you?
I would have to say that not getting enough sleep ranks up there pretty high in my brain. I have a tendency to get up early and do a bunch of stuff and then go back to sleep for a few hours. The problem is I usually do not fall asleep till about 2:00 in the morning! I think I have a solution to the problem. I bought some ORGANIC NIGHTY NIGHT Caffeine Free Herbal Tea to try tonight. Wish me luck!
I have become a woman who is even more driven to succeed at life. I did not think it was possible, but I am proving myself wrong. I thought I had a pretty good grip on reality. Now, since one of my sons moved off to Texas…I seem to see things a bit differently. I summed it up by realizing that life has a path. We can do what we can to change the path, but the path will always be there. So, I decided to just go with the flow. I found out a long time ago that you can make changes, but you can not change people. People are made up of many complexities. If you think you finally figured one out, there will just be the next. lol So, enjoy each other for who you are. Enjoy the many different experiences you have had with whom ever wants to listen to them. Maybe you can start a blog. Hey, that is what I did, huh?
