Pre-schoolers were shown this picture and asked the same question.
90% of the pre-schooler’s gave this answer.
‘The bus is traveling to the left.’
When asked, ‘Why to the left?’
They answered:
‘Because you can’t see the door to get on the bus.’
How do you feel now ???

Here in Tasmania where we drive on the left hand side of the road that would make it travelling to the right. Unless as Dennis said it’s reversing.
If it was travelling against the rotation of the earth at the same speed as the rotation of the earth would it in fact be standing still???? From the perspective of a hovering stationary alien space craft outside of earth’s gravitational field that is
I just realised that if it was going in reverse there would be reverse lights drawn on it
I said it wasn’t traveling at all but sitting still. But, they are correct of course and the bus is FACING left.
